1. Who this policy covers
RankStar.in is operated by RankStar Labs (“RankStar”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains the handling of information provided through this website’s enquiry forms and related communications. For questions about this policy or your information, contact info@rankstar.in.
Information handled on behalf of a client as part of a marketing engagement may also be governed by that engagement’s agreed terms and the client’s own privacy notices. This website notice does not replace those arrangements.
2. Information you provide
The information requested depends on the form you use. Our enquiry forms ask for some or all of the following:
- Your name and email address;
- Your website address;
- The service or subject you are interested in; and
- Your message, project needs or description of what is not working.
Required fields are identified by the form. You can choose not to submit a form or to leave optional fields blank. Without a reply address or sufficient details, we may be unable to respond usefully. Please do not include passwords, account access credentials, payment-card details, government identification documents or sensitive personal information in a general enquiry.
3. Technical information associated with enquiries
The website’s enquiry system can associate a submission with its date and time, the page used, an IP address, and browser information supplied by the browser. The Contact-page form is configured to keep a website submission record and send an email. The shared enquiry form is configured to send an email containing the information you provide and technical details. Enquiry information is therefore handled through our website systems and email correspondence.
4. How enquiry information is used
Enquiries are currently reviewed directly by the person running RankStar Labs. Information supplied in an enquiry is used to understand the request, respond through the contact details provided, discuss relevant services, prepare a proposal where relevant and continue the conversation you requested. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself purchase a service or guarantee an outcome.
The shared enquiry form asks you to affirmatively consent to processing the information to respond to your enquiry. That checkbox starts unchecked. This enquiry consent is not a separate subscription to promotional messages.
We do not currently use a separate CRM or pass enquiries to other service businesses for their own follow-up. The enquiry consent covers responding to the request; it should not be treated as blanket permission for unrelated promotional campaigns.
5. Services that receive information
Hosting, website and form infrastructure, email services, and the Google tools described below are involved in running the website or processing information. These technical services are distinct from referring your enquiry to another service business. The absence of a separate CRM does not mean that no service providers process information.
Provider identities, processing locations and any transfer arrangements depend on the services used. You can contact info@rankstar.in with a question about a service involved in your enquiry. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices; review that service’s notice before providing information there.
6. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can communicate information about a browser or a visit to a website. You can manage stored cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies can affect website features.
We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console through Site Kit to understand website use and search performance. Analytics can use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions and process technical information about a browser or device. Search performance reports help us understand how people find the website in Google Search.
Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and its Privacy Policy. Browser cookie controls are available, but blocking or deleting cookies does not necessarily stop all analytics information being transmitted. The enquiry consent checkbox is not consent for unrelated tracking.
7. Retention and protection
At present, we retain enquiry records and related correspondence and have not set a fixed automatic deletion period. This describes the current practice; it does not mean that every record needs to be kept permanently. You can ask about a record or request its deletion using the contact details below. Any continued retention remains subject to applicable law.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe you have sent information through an inappropriate channel, contact info@rankstar.in.
8. Questions, requests and choices
You can contact info@rankstar.in to ask about your enquiry information, request a correction or deletion, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw consent relating to an enquiry. Please identify the email address used and describe the request; do not send identity documents unless a suitable verification process has been explained.
The rights and exceptions that apply depend on the applicable law and the information involved. Withdrawal can limit our ability to continue a requested enquiry. It does not retrospectively undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Use the same contact route to raise a concern about how your request has been handled. Include enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry and explain the concern.
9. Information about other people and children
Please share another person’s information only if you have authority to do so and they understand why it is being provided. This website presents business marketing services. Please do not use its general enquiry forms to submit children’s personal information. A parent or guardian with a concern can contact info@rankstar.in.
10. Updates and contact
Revisions to this policy will be shown on this page with an updated date. A policy update does not itself authorise a new processing purpose where a further notice or consent is required.
